Residential Courses/ Family Fun

In the UK, summer / winter courses are mostly held on the campuses of prestigious boarding schools or university colleges, they are usually run by the schools themselves but mostly by other reputable organisations. Through the residential summer programmes overseas students would have the opportunity to experience 'boarding school' life without having to commit.

Durrant Education specialises in summer schools, individual or group. Course selection varies according to parents’ wishes. Tailor-made courses can be constructed upon request. We can provide courses for leadership skills, common entrance preparation, and for those who are aiming or getting ready for Oxbridge University, or simply a fun learning holiday.

Leadership Programme (16+ years)

This course is designed for future leaders of their generation. Content is focused upon leadership and communication skills, including the practical aspects of leadership. It also includes decision making, building an effective team and in developments management skills.

Common Entrance Preparation (8-13 years)

Academic Summer School caters for 8-13 year olds, situated in convenient locations near London. This course aims to prepare students aged 11+ and 13+ for the entrance exam.

Oxbridge Experience and Preparation (16+ years)

Schools are located in prestigious locations in Oxford and Cambridge. We have a wide range of residential academic and cultural programmes, such as general English, IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) or exam preparation for university entrance requirement.

Fun, Fun, Fun!!! (8-13 years)

Whatever their level, each child’s English is assessed on their first day. This means they will be able to learn with others who are at a similar stage. We offer an exciting programme of Active English to give your child maximum opportunity to put their new language skills into practice in a fun and exciting environment.

Two weeks of summer schools costs approximately £900-£2,000 per week, per child, including all tuition, activities and accommodation. These are only a few examples of what is on offer.
