Taster Days
Many schools offer websites, prospectuses and even open days, however, these can only give you a flavor of the school but in order to get to know the school better in terms of its quality, one has to spend a considerable amount of time and effort to ensure that it is the right school for your child.
Many preparatory schools provide Taster Days before accepting on students, if a school does not offer them they are usually happy to accommodate parents upon request. Some preparatory schools even offer one or two-week taster courses if they have places during the off-peak season, when teachers have the opportunity to observe how the child will react to their surroundings and give feedback to the family before making a final commitment.
